WELCOME! I want to personally welcome you to the website for Hearthstone Gallery handmade, handcrafted jewelry and gifts. By the way, my name is Patricia Hendershot. I design and create all of the necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and eyeglass holders seen on this website using select semi-precious gemstones, freshwater pearls, crystal, glass, wood, and/or bone in my studio in Littleton, Colorado. I offer eight (8) jewelry collections, listed on the menu to the left. Whatever your taste and style, I have something for everybody. From simple to ornamental, choose from contemporary, geometric, Christmas, autumn, ocean/sea inspired, wedding/formal/evening, patriotic (red, white, & blue), as well as ethnic styles with Southwestern, Asian, India, African/Middle Eastern, and Egyptian influences.
Sales and Pricing As of July 7, 2008, I am no longer offering a wholesale site. I have made a decision to sell my work to the public at wholesale prices. This is a big decision on my part. Due to the economy and being forced to keep prices down, I have discovered that several gallery and gift shop owners are not buying American made items as they once did or are requesting that artists lower their prices as they price these items between 100 - 300% more. So, I decided to convert this website for retail sales. Now you can buy American made jewelry and gifts direct from the artist without the retail markup.
Currently, I do not offer a shopping cart. I tend to receive emails and telephone calls instead. Should a shopping cart be of interest to most of you, I can add one. For purchases, please refer to "Ordering Information" on the menu to the left for more information.
I recently began selling my jewelry on AbsoluteArts.com, 1000Markets.com, BoundlessGallery.com, Etsy.com, and Yessy.com to gain more exposure. These websites contain many items not listed on this website. To view these other pieces, please click on the links below.

Update! On September 30. 2008, the United States imposed a Congressional ban on Burmese Jadeite (among other items, including Burmese rubies). I do have a small selection of Burmese Jadeite in stock. To view some of these items, click on the "Ethnic Collection" page to the left, then click on "Asian". You may also type the word "jadeite" in the Search box near the top right corner of this page.
Burmese Jadeite is considered a true Jade. Most of the Jade on the market is actually Nephrite. There are also quartz and marble on the market for which are called "Golden 'Jade'", "Malaysia 'Jade'", "Mountain 'Jade'", etc. Also beware that African Jade, some Black Jade (actually Black Stone with a coating), some Olive Jade, etc, are not Jade at all.
If you are interested in Burmese Jadeite, please look at some of my work. Feel free to contact me for more information and/or custom work. Once my supply of Burmese Jadeite runs out, that's it. This is a great investment and makes a wonderful present for that someone special.
Spring & Summer If you're ready for warmer days, check out the Sea Breeze collection. I also offer a nice selection of Rose Quartz, Green Aventurine, Serpentine Jade (commercial trade name - it is not Jade), etc., as well as many colorfully hued freshwater and glass pearls and incredible Mother of Pearl selections. It's time to brighten up our wardrobes! And don't forget to check out my other websites for other selections not displayed here.
USING SEARCH CRITERIA: Should you have something special in mind, enter search parameters to locate that certain piece of jewelry. I offer several types of jewelry from delicate to bold and from basic to unusual.
I have tried to set up the Search so that it is easy for people to search for specific items or specific types of items. Some words to assist your search, are "delicate", "bold", "nugget", "bridal", "oval", "triangle", "holiday", "necklace", "multistrand", etc. You may also search on a specific gemstone type, a color, or the name of the piece. Should you be looking for children's jewelry, for example, you should use the term "delicate" to display pieces that may be of interest. I am still working on this to make the search easy for customers to locate exactly what they have in mind.
Click on "My Work" for performing a detailed search. There is also a Search box in the upper right corner of most pages. I want you to find this website easy to use. I also love suggestions.
